The Central Bank of Iran has released a new 100,000-rial note. Issued on 22 June 2010, the size of this note is 166 mm x 79 mm, light olive in colour and signed by Hosseini-Bahmani. On the front is a portrait of Ayattolah Khomeini and on the back the tomb of the famed 13th century Persian poet Saadi at Sadiyeh-Shiraz. The watermark is a portrait of Imam Khomeini.

Mr. Faris Sharaf is the new governor of the Central Bank of Jordan who replaces Dr. Umayya Toukan. He has been appointed for 5 years, and the next issues of Jordan will have his signature.
