Front – To the right is a dhoani in full sail, while in the centre is a bunch of coconuts hanging from a tree, and to the left is an area reserved for viewing the watermark. The notes are bordered by various designs, with two cowrie shells in the bottom left-hand corner of each note.
Back – The gatehouse of the ‘Mulee-Aage’. Behind the gatehouse, with only its roof visible, is the tomb of Abu al Barakaath, who converted the people of the Maldives to Islam.
