Front — Stylized drawing of the National Mausoleum and the Sat Gambuj Mosque.
Size — 153 mm x 66 mm.
Watermark — Attentive tiger (Type 4).
Security thread — Wide iridescent windowed thread printed with ‘Bangladesh’ (in Bengali).
Serial number — Single letter prefix with seven numerals.
Signature — Fakhruddin Ahmed (G8).
Printer — Security Printing Corporation, Bangladesh.
Note: This variety of the note has the number '500' in Bengali character, in the top left, printed in two colours. The top part of the numerals is printed in optically variable ink. The Bengali text for 'Five Hundred Taka' is printed in the same colour as all the other intaglio printing.
